"I was referred to this practice by another therapist. I really appreciated seeing all the women counselors on the website and was excited to learn more. When I called to inquire about a preliminary consult with Dr. Quilantan to see if she would be the right fit for my family and I's counseling needs, I was unsuccessful. The receptionist behaves as a militant gatekeeper who is willfully uncooperative and stated a preliminary consult would cost $300. He never even bothered to discuss insurance or seek more information from me to better assist. I explained to the receptionist that a preliminary consult typically only takes 15 minutes max, he responded telling me no and that it would have to be a 45 minute full session and that he would need to send me a contract and other forms to physically sign to schedule the consult, which is unheard of in my experience. After getting off the phone from this egregious exchange with the receptionist, I referred back to the person who referred me CCST, and she confirmed that preliminary consults should be free. For a counseling center that states they provide "techniques in a caring and compassionate manner" the man at the front desk reflects the exact opposite of care and compassion, and from reading the google reviews, is an impediment to reaching the centers mission. I am deeply disappointed and frankly fear for future patients/clients having to endure this treatment especially if they're experiencing a serious mental health crisis."

"My online counselor is great. BUT the Man in front office is not willing to work with you AT ALL. I had scheduled an appointment almost a month ago, took a day off for work so I can take my child, he could not find the appointment booked and was not willing to help and accommodate me, very rude, unprofessional and had no knowledge in pricing. Please don't waste your time, I hope he's replaced."

"First off, the little boy they have as a receptionist is so rude and absolutely no customer service and no regards for human life. I scheduled an appt 2 weeks prior for oct 19 @445 and they call at 430 telling me they have to reschedule because the counselor is going to training. They should of had those dates by then and should of given me a date further off if he wasn’t going to be available or schedule me with another counselor!!!! Worst place ever! If ur having a hard time don’t even bother with these people !!!"
