Mike Bennet and the team at BARC were awesome in providing support, encouragement, and simply put, showing they care about everyone's path to recovery. Bay Area genuinely cares about the progress of everyone that walks through the doors asking for help. One impressive part to the programs with Bay Area is the alumni program that come back for occasional sessions. I don't know of any other program that can boast this. I appreciate the time and effort the team puts into the program. I will always recommend them to anyone I know looking for help in recovery and treatment."

"I sought help from the Bay Area Recovery Center (BARC) after a recent relapse because I recognized I needed to get my alcohol dependency under control. Michael and his staff provided me with the necessary tools for relapse prevention. I truly enjoyed attending the group sessions because they were extremely informative and helpful. The cool thing about BARC is that you can continue attending future sessions as an "alumni" after your initial set of group sessions have been completed. I hope and pray that I stay clean and sober and that if you are thinking of going into a place for treatment that you read this and give this place a shot. The counselors there are helpful and understanding because they have been in most of our shoes and I've learned that the way to stay clean and sober is by helping others learn and become aware that we are not alone in this fight. There are people that truly care and I even got a call today from a counselor from Bay area recovery and he offered to come take me to meetings with him because he knows I don't have a car and am disabled. That is the kind of people that are in recovery and are the ones that give us hope.
