"Just fyi because this is very important, per research: "Unfortunately, you can't treat or repair split ends. So once the ends of your hair become damaged or frayed, the only way to get rid of them is to cut them off." *** Per Taylor "Goodmorning yes ma'am we can reschedule to trim some more off. I didn't trim all of it if because what was left can be restored but we can cut it off..." Yikes... I've been pressing my hair for over 30 years, cuticles will close no prob. Ladies, please understand you NEED to cut off all those dead ends and knots! Let it go!!!! Split ends and knots cannot be restored. Requesting a $120 refund for my "silk press" and "cut". Work way too hard to be downplayed like this. Unacceptable. My appointment was delayed, the customer service lacked, cannot seem to get rescheduled with a DIFFERENT stylist (like requested) I will not be returning. Appears this is more of a spot for braids NOT silk presses. Pass."

"I haven’t been to a hair salon in many years so I felt like this would be a good fit and honestly wanted it work out. I initially set up a consultation and Rita reached out to ask what I was looking for and agreed to confirm for the day and time of my consult. They are still operating under COVID procedures where they do curbside check-in. Prior to your appointment you will receive a text reminder for your appointment with additional details, contact info to reach them, etc. The text message Informs you to notify the stylist of your arrival by replying. I replied and received an automated response of ‘ Sorry, we didn't recognize your response. Reply C to confirm / X to cancel your appointment.’ You can only confirm or cancel through the initial number and are unable to send any other response outside of that. So I called to the other number provided and no response. I waited close to 30 minutes still with no response and finally went to the door and asked if I was still being seen. I was told if I could wait a little longer and I will receive a text to come in. I finally saw Rita who was very nice and we booked for the following weekend. Well the following weekend came and unfortunately I cancelled my appointment due to the lack of communication. I arrived to this appointment five minutes prior as well sent a text that I arrived and no response. Ten minutes later I went up to the door and it was locked also each time I went to the salon the sign next to the door said they were closed although they’re inside. No one came to the door so I went back to wait in my car thinking I would receive some sort of update. My appointment was at 10am, I waited for 45 minutes and went back up the door and jiggled the handle and another stylist opened the door and I informed her I had an appointment with Rita at 10am. She asked me to wait so she can speak with her. I was asked if I can continue to wait as Rita was trying to move some appointments around. I declined and cancelled my appointment. It’s been two days and no one has reached out at all or to apologize. It’s not that I didn’t mind waiting but there was no communication and the person who was supposed to do my hair couldn’t even come to speak to me herself."
