"If you are looking for a recovery program, I would recommend Starlite. There are several ways in which Starlite helped me in my recovery journey. A few ways is through EMDR, SMART, AA, relationships built with other clients, and the counseling. EMDR helped me get through trauma that I’ve struggled with for years and I never seemed able to shake. The counseling was a life saver; however, I will say I had the best counselor (Teresa). She is a Godsend and helped me grow in more ways than I knew was possible. She truly cares about not just her clients but every individual there."

"I loved starlite. The techs and staff are cool and can be very helpful . You just have to know how to go about things lol . Barbie bailey hailee and Tyler made my stay very welcome . 10/10 would recommend. Also if you do seek treatment here , do the leap of faith . Its worth it ."

"Jadyn and Lauren are indeed hardworking employees and definitely have a lot of care and compassion in helping the clients in Liberty. I found my stay there mostly pleasant with few issues. The classes are repetitive, and I am was not a fan of mandatory yoga and pilates. When I was there, the counselors were definitely overwhelmed with the client to counselor ratio. I found most of my recovery and progress was in the one on one sessions with my counselor who was beyond helpful, caring, compassionate, empathetic, listened, and truly cared about me being healthy and whole (Teresa). The reason why I am leaving two stars is because admissions (management)does not appear to care about the client/counselor ratio. There were too many clients with the number of counselors available. Without the counselors and techs, this place would not have any positive qualities. I would recommend that upper management listen to the techs and counselors more than their own misguided ambitions."

"Although I find this place a help, it has so many deficiencies. Understaffed is the number one. Everyday their excuse to gym closures, no instructors, and anything else that gets canceled, is “We are having staffing issues”. For a place that charges $3k a day per client I’d like to think they could hire more staff. The same old excuse of, “Well what are you going to do when you’re out in the world and your gym closes”? My gym at home has never been closed for staffing issues in the 15 years I’ve been a member. That is their go to for everything that they fail to accomplish. Deflecting the guilt on your own recovery instead of having a solution to the inability to hire and retain staff. As I write this, I am currently waiting on my hygiene products. No surprise to me there isn’t a tech in sight. I can’t get my razor, clippers, or any other item deemed unsafe for me to be responsible with due to zero staff on duty. However the paid contractors who teach specialty classes are always here and on time. You’re forced to attend a worthless Zumba class to receive credit for the day but good luck trying to get a Starlite employee when you need one. If it wasn’t for the counselors and the staff that do show up, I’d have checked out long ago."

"I spent 45 days at Starlight in the Veteran’s Treatment Program at their Liberty facility. All the staff, in detox, at Liberty, and the main building were great. My therapist was able to help me with techniques like EMDR and getting to the root of why I drank. In fact, all the therapist were extremely helpful. Family day was offered where loved ones come and work out issues from both sides in a secure group setting. The food was enjoyed by all, and Jason, Lori, and the rest of the staff were even supportive in a recovery sense as well! There is a great gym for getting back your physical health, and outings every weekend to go bowling, movies, and the likes of spiritual walks and Church!!! Last but not least, the country setting with all the animals made my experience that much more serene. Starlite is definitely one of the best rehabs, if not the best in Texas.
