""Hi there, I had a 10:15 am appointment with Dr. Monique Au today, but I arrived less than 10 minutes late. Unfortunately, upon checking in and paying my co-pay, I was informed that my appointment had been canceled due to my tardiness. I expressed my disappointment to the receptionist, citing that I've often had to wait well beyond my appointment time even when arriving early. I believe a 10 to 15 minute grace period is standard in such situations. As a result, I'll be seeking a new primary care doctor and will not be returning to Houston Methodist. When doctors overbook, patients are made to wait, yet there's no grace period for patients. This experience has left me extremely dissatisfied with the handling of the situation, and I won't be returning. Thank you.""
"Had an appointment at 1:30pm, arrived 20 minutes late, the receptionist said she has to reschedule the appointment because I’m late, I told her my car didn’t start and I had to replace it at the dealership this morning plus you will keep me waiting anyway even if arrived on time usually even more than 20 minutes but she insisted in rescheduling although I didn’t see a single person on the waiting area, so I cancelled the appointment."
"Suite 100 has horrible customer service. VERY unprofessional-especially nurse “Shaquietta”. She need to go back to nursing school. She is incompetent with poor understanding. The staff could be heard laughing at patients situations. I could hear inappropriate conversations about patients. There are too many doctors to be putting up with this unprofessional MESS!"
"We've had a difficult time finding a primary care physician for my mom, 93 years old. My sister found Dr. Agbe-Davies by googling and her reviews checked out. My mom went in for one visit and it went well. However, the next time we called for an appointment we were told that Dr. Agbe-Davies was out on medical leave and we would be contacted when she came back. I said "HUH?" That's no good, my mom needs care now, get me with someone else. They gave me a run around but ultimately would not give me an appointment. I called two months later and they again resisted giving me an appointment, they said that Dr. Agbe-Davies would be back on duty soon. I ripped them and told them to just switch my mom to one of the other doctors and get on with it man! I have no time for silly games. Again they refused to give me an appointment. Another two months went by and my mom didn't sound right and I wanted someone to put a stethoscope on her chest because she had fluid in the lung not long ago. I didn't have anyone else to call so I called this office again and was again told that Dr. Agbe-Davies was out and I just told them that was flat unacceptable and firmly demanded that someone see my mom to provide needed care. They again (can you believe this?) refused an appointment but instead referred me to the emergency room! Why should I pay an emergency room $4000 to put a stethoscope on my mom's chest? My mom refused to go to the emergency room so I called the next day and again requested care and they again refused to give me an appointment but instead pulled some strings and got her in with her Methodist pulmonologist, Dr. Shah, the same day. Shortly thereafter my mom was hospitalized for some confusion and she was discharged from the Methodist hospital with instructions to see her primary care Dr. within a week. Coincidentally we received several glowing letters from Dr. Agbe-Davies apologizing for her extended absence and that she was back at work now, and to call for anything we needed. So I gave them one last chance, I figured Dr. Agbe-Davies would take my mom since she was her actual patient and after her extended absence probably many of her patients had moved on and she wouldn't be busy. So I called and talked to Miranda. I was offered an appointment one month out. I said, no, that's no good, my mom needs follow up within one week. Miranda talked to Dr. Agbe-Davies personally and together they refused to give me an urgent appointment but instead referred me to a neurologist. I said that's it. This is going to generate online complaints and complaints to the Methodist hospital."
"I had blood drawn at their lab on Thursday 12/29/2016, the lab technician tried to take blood at three places on right arm at center, left arm at center and on left wrist. the blood drawn on left arm are both swollen and she removed the needle as the swelling was getting too bad. She told me use hot and cold compresses which i did. Even after 5 days the pain did not go off and also i had a large bruise green and purple red in color and hurts the whole left hand. So i called the office on Tuesday 01/03 and talked about this issue and since it was mistake of the lab technician doing the blood work i said i will need that to be addressed asap as i am having hard time with the hand. there was no response until afternoon and i called back, talked with another lady and she said someone will call me. No one called me till now Thursday 01/05 regarding this, I never had issues with blood drawn. The primary care doctor Dr Rajan was very good, has lot of patience and had good knowledge but i give 1 star because when you go to a clinic along with the doctor there are other things that needs to be considered. 1. blood was not drawn properly by the lab technician. 2. I called in two times regarding the damaged veins which was their mistake and talked with someone who said i would get a call back but No call till now. No response even after 2 days. The bruise is still there after 1 week and the hand still hurts. I don't recommend going there and there are better clinics around."
