Stringtown General Store is a unique museum located in Lebanon, Tennessee, United States. The store was originally operated by A. C. Wharton in the 1940s after a farm injury prevented him from farming. Mr. Wharton and his wife, Mary Alice, emphasized the importance of education to their children, who went on to become leaders in various fields. The store was donated to Fiddlers Grove in 2003 by the Wharton family. The museum features a variety of exhibits, including a train caboose that served as a multi-purpose space for railroad crews. The caboose was donated to Fiddlers Grove in memory of Billy Baxter in 2007. Additionally, visitors can explore the Bay's Southern Bread Company Museum, which showcases the history of a successful bread baking business started by Peggy Bay.
