Cades Cove Primitive Baptist Church is a historic place of worship located on Primitive Baptist Church Road in Townsend, Tennessee, United States. Established in 1827, the current building was constructed in 1887 to replace the original log cabin. The church played a significant role in the community, with members being pro-Union during the Civil War. The church cemetery surrounds the building, housing the graves of early settlers of Cades Cove, including John Oliver and his wife. Visitors can attend Ranger talks and explore the cemetery, but must stay on designated paths. The church can be rented for weddings in October.
