High school basketball training in Huntingdon, Tennessee

Carroll Academy is an Adolescent Intensive Day Treatment Program located at 625 High Street, Huntingdon, Tennessee. Operating since 1994, it is funded by the Department of Children’s Services of the State of Tennessee and serves the Juvenile Courts of Carroll, Henry, Henderson, Weakley, and Benton counties. Students are ordered to the program for behavior modification and intervention, receiving counseling, meals, educational services, family intervention, and life skills training. With a focus on preventing more intensive court involvement, the program aims to teach functional life and academic skills to at-risk adolescents. The facility includes classrooms, a computer lab, gymnasium with a regulation basketball court, and a separate security office. Students are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities. The program also offers exposure to arts and sports, with an emphasis on accountability and structured learning. Through a compassionate and structured approach, Carroll Academy aims to empower students to regain control of their lives and become productive members of society.
