"I would love to find out more about this cemetery... Why there's only about 9 Graves and why there is only 2 that are marked???"
"The Blair family was given a Colonial land grant of thousands of acres that stretched from their ancestral mansion (with a mansion still standing original home site), virtually directly west of the cemetery across the Tennessee River, to Blair Bluff which is east of the cemetery across the Little Tennessee River. However, the Huff family were in possession of the land at the time of TVA; more than a century and a half later. All surviving tombstones in the cemetery of about 12 tomb stone graves (that are obvious) of which there are only 2 readable, have the name Blair and their deaths are 1859 & 1899 - the seemingly 2 most recent. There are also lined up indentations that seem to speak of another 5 graves."
"We hike Hall Bend trail a lot and we always stumble across the cemetery. I did not know that it was called Huff cemetery untill recently. I have always been calling it Blair cemetery due to the last names on the stones."
"Found this cemetery accidentally while hiking Hall Bend Trail. I haven't had luck finding information about the individuals buried here. It seems odd that it's 'Huff' cemetery yet the headstones only read 'Blair' (George and Charley). Would love to know more history!"
