"This place has been solid for years. I frequented here when I lived in the area 6 or 7 years ago. It was great and reasonable then with friendly folks. I'm working in the area so I figured I'd stop in and see if it's the same quality this many years later. It definitely is. The servers are generally extremely polite and on top of whether it's take out or dining in. It's generous portions for pricing. I can also order online!"
"Ichiban is a Powell staple! They have great food and very sweet, kind couple who owns it. Daniel, his wife, and his team have consistently provided great service in such a quaint atmosphere. Highly recommend anything on the menu, but we always lean towards the sushi or bento boxes!"
"Ordered online, never had before but it’s right down the road from my house so I thought i’d give it a try and man was this DELICIOUS!! Ordered the chicken hibachi bento box assuming it was normal serving but I had to share with the whole family lol. For $20 (with tip) TOTALLY worth the price!! Will be coming back!!"
"We have missed sushi since moving to Tennessee, but we've finally found the best sushi! John does an excellent job preparing it! Fantastic! Emma was our server and was very pleasant and helpful telling us about their homemade sauces, and letting us sample them. Great experience! We will be back!!!"
"Mediocre at best. The spring rolls were good; fresh, crisp, with good flavor. The curry was not spicy at all had an okay flavor but the chicken was REALLY weird and did not taste right and the texture was really weird. If I didn’t love broccoli I wouldn’t like this curry because it is filled with broccoli."
