Sonic Drive-In

"OVER IT!!!!! Went earlier in the week to get the chicken dinner with cheese tots. The order taker kept trying to charge me 3.49 for putting cheese on the tots that come WITH THE MEAL, because instead of just adding cheese, she kept trying to ring up a separate side of tots. I just left. Called the manager and expressed my concern and he was receptive. Tried again today to get the same thing. Automatically upcharged me and rang up the 5 piece instead of the 3 piece so I had to buzz back in. They are supposed to ask if your order is correct before they end the conversation…. Get home, the chicken tenders are old and over cooked, no onion ring, no dipping sauce. Called again and the manager just sat on the phone and never said a word so I hung up. Why is it so hard to get quality food and service these days????"

"The worst two oreo blast you could ever get. First they were 3/4 full one blast had more trick or treat candies in it than oreo which we ordered. We normally have good service here but today was just horrible. I always tip but after today they have to earn our trust again."

"Sonics slam better in the South. Cheddar poppers were sooooo good! The chili coney dog was the best addy ever had. Great staff and so fast with a FULL parking lot!"

"Everything- I filled a survey already but there were updates and I don’t think I will get a response online. I waited in total almost 45 minutes from mobile order at the patio area till receiving my food and milkshake. I believe the order was made and just sat there getting cold and the shake melting. I flagged down a runner around minute 15 and asked him kindly to take a look at my order. He did and the back staff was looking for it. 10 minutes later after seeing all these other orders go through I clicked the red light. No response for another 10 minutes. Another guy comes out and asks me to confirm my order and then they look for it in the back. He comes out again a couple of minutes later and says “we have to redo your shake” and hands me two coupons (one cone and one bogo hotdog). I wait and another lady comes out 5 minutes later with my order and apologizes. I go to my car and the burger is cold- they didn’t bother to remake it after I sat there for over half an hour. I think to myself the shake might be better- it wasn’t stirred properly and all the syrup was at the bottom. I think surely at least the coupons will make up for it. They didn’t because one of the coupons EXPIRED 3 YEARS AGO. So I really only got a coupon for a free cone, cold food, and terrible service. I’m probably done with ordering Sonic here (the location on Houston levee is better but closes earlier). I can’t tell if it’s the app, the workers, or both that made the experience bad. It’s not the first time I’ve had to flag down people for my food with a mobile order so really it’s not worth the trouble. I would rather wait down the road somewhere else in a drive thru rather than wait on a mobile order that’s never coming out. Really wish I could rate the place zero stars"

"I think Sonic is an excellent go to for when you want a good burger and fries. But this morning, I was appalled by my burrito Order #432864. I said light egg, and all it had WAS EGG!. No Sausage, No bacon, No cheese..just sauce(which is fire btw) and EGG. Please be sure to check the order before preparing or taking out to customer. Thank you"
