“Went there last night with a group of networking friends for a set menu dinner. Everything was great. At first I thought the portions were small. However I went home satiated, but not stuffed. All the flavours were on point. There was nothing overly salty or sweet. The wait staff also asked about alergies before the dinner started and swapped out dishes for those that needed it.”

The food was great - reasonable pricing for the serves and quality. The drinks range was sensational. “Well I have to agree with some of the negative comments regarding the self serve approach to ordering food. It does seem to lose the appeal of going to a restaurant. I completely understand why they have done it. But when you have such beautiful friendly people like Lina and Roberto on the front of house I really think you are missing a trick. Maybe give people the option of being served or going to the vending machine. The food atmosphere can’t be faulted.”

“Highly recommended. For brunch, “The Classic” and “Full “Breakfast” were amazing! Sadly, we came their early morning, way before they could serve their tapas and mains. We asked if they could serve the Ceviche (in the tapas menu) before serving time, thankfully they said YES! Everything was amazing.”

“We used to love coming here when visiting The Mount. This time the portions were much smaller than usual but still pricey. $39 for a teeny piece of snapper with sauce was a bit sad. I understand food has become more costly but you can still “bulk” it up with extra carbs, it’s cost effective and people won’t leave hungry. I’m not sure we will be back again. The drinks and service were good though.”

“Amazing. Going to Shake Shed Bayfair like going to a house of friend who wants to share with you the drink they loved in childhood. Staffs were naturally friendly and professional. I tried the first time Brown Sugar bubble tea. I can't wait to have it again, the flavour was so rich and it was like nothing i had drunk before. I can't recommend this place high enough and will come back soon.”

“It's a beautiful place and me and my friend really enjoyed eating there. The window seat looks out to the beach and it's lovely. It's very pet friendly and everyone was super sweet and nice. Highly recommend going if your looking for a place to chat and enjoy the view.”

“I stayed here for one night on a trip from Australia. The room was great, the only downside was the lift was not working and I didn't find out until I arrived. The service was amazing - I left my iPad in the room after I stayed, and the communication about the iPad being found, and then the help I received to pack the iPad up and send it back to Australia with DHL (using my account) was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend staying if you are in town and I will always make sure I am staying here anytime I am in town.”
