“My friend and I went to the Royal for dinner two nights in a row as we enjoyed the food so much, we had to go back. Had the rotisserie lamb should on the second night and it was delicious! As a side we chose the broccolini as suggested by a staff member and it was a great combination.”

“my partner and i visited today - not guests of the hotel - for a drink, during the school holidays. the bar was rather quiet, which is our preference, and much preferred over the first venue we tried to get a drink at which was booked out for at least another two hours (the goldfish place). we were promptly greeted at the bar by a lovely girl who quickly had as seated (seats chosen by us) and supplied with a drink menu. as quickly as we were seated we were given ice cold water and our orders were taken. we had a great time enjoying the atmosphere of the bar / lounge while we waited for our drinks to be made (which was not long). it's a very cosy and quaint place, we both really like it. a different but just as lovely girl delivered our drinks - a chilli margarita each. d e l i c i o u s! really delicious margarita, and i frequently order margaritas when we go out for drinks. i thought it was the best margarita i have had in some time. the chilli kick had the perfect amount of heat. yum. we really enjoyed our drink and stay this afternoon - especially since everyone seemed to be very Covid-Conscious. we will definitely be back for another drink soon.”

“This was our first time dining at Kingsleys. We live interstate and wanted a great dining experience while we were in Sydney. They certainly did not let us down. The scallops for my entree were amazing. The eye fillet was absolutely superb. The red we ordered was a very tasty drop which complimented my steak very VERY well. My fiance is Vegan and I had to take time to check their menu prior to booking. She most certainly wasn't let down. She said her meal was full of flavour and she certainly didn't go away hungry. The staff were great - very friendly and accomadating. Only one issue though - the toilets... they did need a clean - not that it's much of a problem. It is well worth the money and the views are fantastic. We WILL be back.”

“We had a fantastic time and Lennox was very friendly and polite (considering my fanboying). The 270 day dry aged steak was truly outstanding! Have never tasted a steak as delicious as that and probably won’t again! The artichoke was the absolute surprise of the night- almost meaty. Lived up to expectations (which were super high).”

“A special experience. The service was attentive and helpful in choosing meals. The decor was dim and moody which set up a lovely ambience. I especially appreciated being seated well spaced out from other tables. The food was beautiful. We started off with Ceviche which was fresh and tasty. The sides of chips (crunchy and fluffy) and cauliflower (extremely tasty) were great. I got the 14 hour cooked beef brisket. I thought it was slightly dry for my liking, but it is difficult for beef brisket not to be. The other dishes I tried from the table were all spectacular. Special mentions to the eye fillet, gnocchi and half roast chicken. The Shiraz was great too, so overall I had a great experience and will spread the word!”

“We had our wedding reception at Eastside over the weekend and I cannot thank them enough for making it one of the best nights of my life. Davide was extremely helpful, making the whole night a breeze to manage. The bar staff was very friendly and loved by our guests. I have received non-stop accolades from the guests at the quality of the food. We have been told that this might have been the best food they have received at a wedding reception, so a huge thank you to the kitchen staff for that. Our guests have been raving about the vibe of the venue, the quality of the food, and the seamless experience of it all. We had a few delays and issues that were out of the restaurant's controls, but the whole team handled it in such a painless way that all of the guests thought everything went according to plan flawlessly. We had approximately 70 people and with some light shuffling after meals were served, we still had room for a decent dance floor. Thank you again to the team for a night none of us will never forget.”

“We had a light lunch here with friends. And although it was vegetarian and fish. The food was absolutely delicious! We had ordered the mushroom and mash pie, which came with a salad, and also ordered calamari, which came with aioli. Both were delicious, and portions were spot on (as shown in the photo) The service is lovely. Would recommend it and can't wait to go back again!”

“Came here again because they made a damn good lamb ribs last time. But unfortunately, when I'm here again, the taste is a bit different. I saw that the guy that made my order last time was on break (I came to break my fast during Ramadhan). But it should be fine since he's still around. Look for a Muslim guy with some beard on him. He made the ribs, licking good. The oreo cookies n cream thick milkshake is good, btw. Not too sweet.”

“This place is the gift that keeps on giving! Having been a semi regular punter/patron for ten years, having access to $6 pints in 2023 is a windfall. And, this is on all beers between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Decor decent post renovation. Highly recommended!”

The flavour of the pumpkin soup was exquisite and so much better than you’d expect at a 24 hour diner. The pancakes were also a nice way to end my midnight feast, with lots of options to customise.”

It's perfectly cooked, juicy and full of flavor. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients are evident in every bite. But what really sets Honza's Grill apart is Honza himself. Lisa and her team were rushed off their feet during the semi finals and the finals of the Women’s World Cup but found the time to help a UK broadcaster remain on air and sustain hours of live broadcasting. Great food, great service, great people. Well worth a visit!”

“Food was good quality and very tasty, Location is amazing and great view or the harbour if there are no cruise ships docked. Staff were not super attentive which was slightly disappointing however on balance the experience was very positive. Cost what you would expect for a place on the harbour. Nice place to grab dinner for a special occasion, wouldn't recommend the chi Panna Cotta if your not into floral and tea tasts. Not great for vegans or vegetarians though Would come back to celebrate a social occasion”

“Dec 2022: Ribs & Burgers Zetland. A little overpriced for what you get, but what you also get is delicious. Very bland North American style chain fit out, subdued staff, and overpriced burgers and ribs. If that's what you want, then this is that place to be!”
