Welcome to the Maritime Training Centre, located in the beautiful City of Lake Macquarie, Toronto, New South Wales, Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, our school offers a unique opportunity to become an offshore skipper and learn to sail on Lake Macquarie, which happens to be Australia's largest saltwater lake. At the Maritime Training Centre, we offer a variety of theory courses to help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge to navigate the open waters. Our Coastal Navigation course, which spans over two days, is available for $400. Additionally, we provide several courses for home study, including Engine Operation & Maintenance, Passage Planning, VHF Operating Procedures, Meteorology, Sea Safety & Survival, and Coastal Navigation. These courses are all offered for free when you enroll in our skipper or coastal skipper courses.
