A week later, Chatswood store rang to say the city store has sent through only one of the shoes in the box. The store manager (Tim – hope I got it right) took extra steps after hours to try and sort it out for me. Unfortunately he had limitations as to what he could do & was also not able to get the appropriate cooperation from the team that made the mistake. I ended up going into the city to pick up that one shoe. The store gave me the shoe without any wrapping at all. Went into Chatswood store to pick up the other shoe & the box. Was greeted by Tim with repeated apologies and a surprise gift voucher to thank me for going to the city to pick up the shoe by myself. I was really impressed with Tim’s service and attitude. Definitely not impressed at all with the team that made the mistake. It’s not great to make mistake but it’s even worse not trying to fix your own error. All the best of luck Chatswood store!!!”
