“Went yesterday with the family the receptionist very welcoming and friendly The 'little 'zoo is bigger than it looks. It's lovely family's would enjoy it especially if u have little ones We even saw some things we've never seen before like the snake neck turtle The aquarium bit is stunning Would definitely recommend to visit if you are in Nantwich”

“Nathan from Zoo2U came to my daughters 7th birthday party. The kids loved seeing, touching and learning about the animals. Nathan was very patient with all the kids and interacted with all the guests. Highly recommended.”
Shropshire Falconry Ltd
“Received a 1-1 photography experience as a gift. From the start Lisa and Steve were fantastic, asking what I wanted to get out of my time with them and if there were any particular birds I wanted to photograph. The selection of birds they have in their care is spectacular! I was fortunate enough to meet some incredible birds and handled by two talented falconers who knew how to handle each to their best potential. I came away not bothered if I had any good pictures as I'd enjoyed my time so much I was satisfied just being there. My experience was personal, relaxed and well delivered. Would highly recommend to anyone considering!”
National Trust - Biddulph Grange Garden
“We loved this garden. Lots of activities for kids, games like throwing wellies and soft balls left there for families to enjoy. (Sanitiser provided to use!) Love the little caves for kids to walk around. We loved climbing the rocks in the China garden. Beautiful and colorful pictures in this area. Lovely tearoom/shop. They also have a second hand book shop.”
RSPB Coombes Valley
“I think that this rspb reserve is my favourite so far. When I've visited it's been very quiet and peaceful with not many other people. The tree viewing points are really fun with the net bridges and offer a great view. Last time I visited I saw what I could only assume to be two buzzards flying quickly one after the other very close to my partner and I under the trees, which was a marvelous treat!”
Kingsley Bird & Falconry Centre
“It was an amazing experience staff were warm and friendly made you feel at home their knowledge about the birds was incredible, definitely recommend it.”
Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre
“It's hard to find but worth it in the end. Needs better signs. It's located at the back of the garden centre but you go through the garden centre main entrance, then make your way to the back, outside. It's cheap to enter and there's lots of birds of prey and owls. All the animals look well looked after and the staff are friendly. Even the gift shop is cheap at the end and I didn't mind spending some money here as I didn't feel they were trying to rip me off like most places. With it being a rescue centre/charity, I hope the money I spent there will go towards the upkeep of the animals, and I will be returning in the summer.”
Battlefield Bird of Prey Centre formerly Battlefield Falconry Centre
“Great experience to see some amazing birds of pray up close and learn some interesting facts about them.”
Peak Wildlife Park
“What a wonderful day. May sister and daughter had previously visited several years ago and it was wonderful to see how far the park has developed. We went around to visit all the animals and had such amazing experiences. We were most excited to stroke and feed the wallabies. All the staff we met were helpful, polite and informative.”
Trentham Estate
“Lovely gardens and lots of places to get food. Wide open space & fresh air. Great day out. You can book afternoon tea in garden pods, which the price for what you get isn't amazing, you do get unlimited tea & coffee refills.”
Cotebrook Shire Horse Centre
“Amazing place to visit, staff are so friendly and helpful. Horses are gorgeous along with all the other animals. Easily one of my new favourite places to visit. Can't recommend here enough.”
Trentham Monkey Forest
“Fantastic, well worth a visit. Lovely to see animals in an unrestricted home, very informative staff, especially the lady who has worked there 17 years. We arrived first thing on Saturday morning and got ahead of the crowds. This made it especially great as all the monkeys were making their way for breakfast. We sat on the fence silently and they all came past us within meters. A very special moment and a very special place.”
Glebe Farm
“Free place to visit, just £1.00 for a small bucket to feed the animals. I recommend this farm if you want to spend few hours with your kids.”

Westport Lake Visitor Centre
“Summer this lake hustles and bustles, right off the canal so great for walks with family and well behaved furry friends. Reason i say well behaved is because there quiet alot of wild life and there young through spring and summer and ive seen alot of individual's bring dogs down and take them off the leashes and they attacked ducks, geese and swans. Theres a kids park with a ice cream van that pulls up for a few hours, for the adults theres a little cafe which sells a variety of things. Beautiful and scenic, part of a small nature reserve, Peaceful and quiet and well looked after.”
Astbury Mere Country Park
“Snowy walk today at Astbury Country Park. It all looked beautiful in the snow, a great walk.”
Home Farm Attingham
“We went here before heading to the NT site next door. The kids loved playing in the playground, watching the tractors, seeing the cows being milked (beware it does really smell in there!) and of course feeding the sheep and cows! It was a good morning and they had nice cake baked locally and nice coffee/tea. All in all it was nice to support a small local farm and give the kids a stretch of their legs. Finding the place - it isn't easy to locate off the road as you can easily miss the turning. There isn't a huge sign but if you see Home Farm turn there even if you think no that can't be it...because it is!!!”
Lakemore Farm Park
“We had such a lovely day.. a small friendly farm with a outdoor play area, cute animals and mini golf, we even got to hug a baby goat.. we'll definitely be going back again!”

“Brilliant company, lots of skilled animals, they are all positively trained using reward based training and the animals get all the rest time they need and are well looked after and cared for.”
Bucknall Park
“Great for dog walks, childrens play areas, sports fields, tennis courts, bowling green.”
Amerton Farm
“I read with interest the comments made regards Amerton Farm living quite close by it has had its issues like most businesses throughout the pandemic. However it has really blossomed with the new businesses now taking up the empty units offering a wide ranging shop especially with Christmas not in the too distant future! Recently the Halloween events were delivered in such a great back drop and I can assure you the Christmas preparation for Santa Claus to call by will be an unbelievable experience for all the family so don't look back look forward and you will see what I mean. A family run business with young new small businesses December promises to be a great month!”
Hassall Alpacas Cheshire
“We visited on Saturday August 21st and were met with Alex who gave us a very warm welcome. Our daughters were over the moon with such a happy experience. Alex was lovely and very informative and we learnt a great deal about the Alpacas and their habits. They all have different personalities and traits. After a good walk around the paddocks we were allowed to feed them. We recommend that everyone should do this. Thanks to Alex and her Mum.”
