“My little girl absolutely loves her Tiny Toes dance classes with Miss Liz! We started when she was just 12 months old, she was a really shy little girl and barely left my knee at first during classes, fast forward a year later and she has come on leaps and bounds, she is now running to the front without me, joining in with all the bigger children and prancing around the house doing her ‘good toes’ and ‘sautés’ all day long! Absolutely cannot recommend these classes and Miss Liz enough.”

Our wonderful instructor Joe made the experience all the more perfect - not only did we learn tonnes with his informative coaching, he was funny, charming and a dream to be instructed by. What a guy! If you are thinking of booking, do it, we haven’t laughed that much in ages! And request Joe if you can! 5 stars”

“My son has been at this nursery for 9 months now and I'm so glad we put him in here, especially after being quite isolated during the pandemic. The staff have always gone above and beyond to make me feel at ease, keeping us informed of what he's doing in the baby room and any sharing photo's on the app. They really seem to care about all the children in the nursery and my son will happily walk in or give them a hug at drop off. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!”

Yet here she absolutely loves it. It usually takes her a while to get used to people but she's so happy going in. I'm updated constantly on what she's been doing, The staff are great! John the owner has excellent knowledge in all areas of gardening, advising on particular species for specific locations, soils, etc. The Christmas wreaths, wall and hanging baskets are like no other I have seen in the local area, I would truly recommend pre ordering however he usually has stock so these can purchased on the day. Overall an excellent traditional nursery.”

“Cheshire Karate Academy is fantastic! Sensei Paula runs the classes at the Astbury location where my my son has started training. She has been brilliant, mixing both the traditional aspects of the martial art while keeping it fun for the younger ones. I have been really impressed with the way my son has come on over the weeks, passing his first grading after around 4 months. They follow one of the main forms, Goju Ryu Karate, recognised by the world federation. The fees are incredibly reasonable and with the lesson bundles is really good value for money. There was a free trial too which was great to get an introduction to it. The village hall location is great too, plenty of free parking, very clean facilities. As a parent there is seating available in the hall to watch the lesson. Highly recommended!”

“Shaftesbury Dance is truly a great place to learn. Both of my daughters (6 and 9) go to lessons each week and have so much fun. There are a wide range of classes aimed at different ages and abilities, all taught in a relaxed and fun way for them. My oldest daughter is part of the Show Dance team and has enjoyed performing on the stage at lots of venues - even Blackpool Tower Ballroom. She is also part of the competition squad and competes in freestyle, street and Rock and Roll. The teaching team are experienced and excel at bringing the best out of the children without putting to much pressure on them. My girls have both improved massively in skills and life confidence. I’ve even had lessons myself so can recommend the adult classes too! If you want somewhere that teaches the joy of dance, Shaftesbury is for you!”
