Café De Paris
● Closed“This place is always very busy so booking is recommended. I hadn't done so but they were able to accommodate me and my toddler very quickly. Despite being a full house, service was excellent and the food came out quickly. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much for them.”

Bhurtpore Inn
● Closed“Finally managed to get here and what a great experience and pub! Simon and Nicky the owner's made me feel so welcomed and got me a table in the rear dining area for a sit down with my pint and a meal. The menu was amazing and the curry selection was excellent but having had a curry a few days ago, I went for the recommended "Beef lasagna" with crusty garlic baguette slices and a freshly, marinated salad...wow! This was one of the best Beef lasagna's ever... Highly recommend this pub and restaurant and the staff were amazing along with Simon and Nicky! A big shout out to you all and thanks for such a great experience. Such a pity I live so far away otherwise I would make it one of my regular stops most definitely!”

Romazzino
● Closed“Really nice and welcoming atmosphere. The food was superb, I was a bit hesitant as I had seen the odd bad review on Tripadvisor but decided to give it a go for me and my partner's anniversary. The menu is really nice, plenty to choose from I could have picked between quite a few dishes. I also asked if I could have a long Island iced tea (something that was not on the cocktail menu) and the waiter we had was more that happy to accommodate this. For starters we had the pan fried scallops and the pistatio humous. The scallops were delicious and the humous came with homemade bread. For mains we had chicken and chorizo rissoto, it was so creamy and flavourful. We also had the herb crusted lamb which was to die for. It's one of the more expensive main choices but I am really glad I chose it and it was definitely worth the money. All in all would definitely recommend Romazzino, staff are professional and food is a 10/10. Thanks for having us.”

Churche's Mansion
● Closed“Excellent food. Historic setting. Can't be beaten. Not expensive at lunch if you choose correctly. Fish and chips are amazing!! Breads lovely. Deserts nice. Beautiful presentation. Place oozes class but without being pretentious. You obviously get some ladies that lunch who spend nothing but love to be seen over a cheap glass of wine (and block a table for 3 hours whilst spending nothing). That's typical sadly. But for foodies and serious dinners this is a lovely place.”

Deadwood Smokehouse
● Closed“Totally peng 'Monster Burger'. Sauces were delicious and the meats were devine. Cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. The maple & bacon sweet potato fries were tasty aswell. Probably not worth the £2 for the house slaw but it was quite refreshing though. Waitress was a delight and the turnaround was very fast. Although it was a Tuesday lunchtime so extremely quiet! Definitely somewhere I'll visit again when I have a greater appetite. AND I DID! Yet again I left this gem of a place with full satisfaction. I had the chicken waffle burger (with added pulled pork) and it was devine! Beautifully sweet crisp belgian waffles to go with perfectly crunchy fried chicken. The brisket burnt end chunks I had as a side were also superb. Decent portion in a tasty sticky sauce. I avoided the blue cheese dip though because it tasted like vomit! Service was fantastic as it was on my last visit. A real fav place of mine now and I'll certainly be back for another fill.”

Pillory House Coffee Shop
● Closed“Yeah , it's really good , been here with a friend of mine 4/5 times now and the customer service is excellent as the waitress/ barista has become known to us with small convocation and even remembering our orders each week or so The atmosphere is great small details like the gift shop at the entrance or even the buyable paintings across the buildings walls I'll be coming here most likely every week from as it's become routine so drink the great hot chocolates x”

The Leopard
● Open“Party of five. Pre booked. Lovely family vibe. Good beer, great food. The only thing that seemed to let it down was the wait to be served. It seemed the bar staff were also the waiting on staff too, which isnt a problem but hope they are appreciated by management, everything done with a smile and good humour. Highly recommend and will return.”

The Black Lion
● Open“If you want old world charm this is a pub to visit, maybe the oldest pub in Nantwich loaded with character and charm. Great selection of beers friendly staff and a lovely open fire to warm by in the winter, good hearty meals served at a reasonable price. Well worth a visit if you want to see a little Cheshire charm. Good selection of beers all reasonably priced and there's also a nice outdoor seating area to the side of the building furnished in quite a quirky style.”

Aroi-Thai
● Open“My half marathon running girlfriend said the Thai yellow curry was the best curry she has ever had in a Thai restaurant. We also feel it is important to acknowledge that the restaurant catered for her colleague who had coeliac’s disease and were very reassuring. I would recommend this restaurant to people that I like.”

Ginger and Pickles
● Closed“We were greeted with a warm welcome at Ginger and Pickles, in a lovely environment. The coffee was delicious (both the espresso and the latte) and the food choices were varied and interesting. We had soup of the day (a delicious white onion and thyme) with a perfect cheese scone, and oatcakes with Stilton, black pudding & chilli jam. Both dishes were sublime, and filling. Highly recommend this place for breakfast, brunch, lunch and tea.”
