"I absolutely love TJ Maxx & Marshall's both. The one in Summerville is alright, considering we don't have another closer than N.Charleston or Mt. Pleasant. I am an esthetician & they have a lot of wonderful, discounted skin/body care products. But, do your homework. You research online on the information. Make a list of ingredients you want to see & ones you absolutely do not want to see. Also, be aware that just because it says it's a natural doesn't mean that it is best. Rattlesnake venom is natural, but it's not good for you! They also have great choices in housewares, clothes for men & women. However, this location is lacking in choices in the lingerie, shoes & and purses, and several other things. Each location is set up according to how the companies think the income levels will spend. They really missed the mark in Summerville. The store is too small & doesn't offer many things that the residents would buy. There is more money in Summerville than most people realize. The locals that were born here do not show off their money. You could pass a millionaire in Walmart here & never know it. The purses, for example, when I went in several weeks ago, there were only four major brand name bags. Two were too small to be of any use & were not clutches. They were just tiny, maybe something a teenager might use, they were big names, too. Then one was a Coach wallet that didn't match anything & one nice Coach bag. This was Thanksgiving week, and you would think there would be more for Christmas shopping. Yes, there were many other bags, but Christmas is when you give or get the nicer purses, not the regular ones, if you can afford them! There weren't even options! So now Summerville residents have to go to the outlets in Charleston or go to the better TJ Maxx & Marshall's in Mt.P to buy nice purses at a discount because there isn't another place to go to in Summerville."

They have awesome name brand make up for super great prices! They have awesome jewelry. Clothes for everyone in the family. Shoes, pet items, furniture, rugs, bedding, toys—I mean I could go on and on!"
