Due to heavy visitation on weekends and holidays, there may be long lines when entering the park, especially from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The park will post updates on their website when parking capacity is reached. Operating hours are from late spring to mid-fall, 7am-9pm daily, and late fall to mid-spring 7am-6pm daily. Admission fees are $8 for adults, $5 for SC seniors (age 65 & older), $4 for children ages 6-15, and free for children under 5. Admission is free on Tuesdays. Pets are allowed in designated villas and outdoor areas, but not in the villas prior to January 1, 2020. Rowdy Harris, the Park Manager, has a passion for the outdoors and has been working as a park ranger since 2004.
