Residence Inn by Marriott Greenville Downtown

"Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were wonderful and new, the ambience was beautiful and the location was exceptional and close to all attractions. The thing that took it over the top was the service. From the folks at the front desk, the breakfast team and even the servers at Oak and Honey, everyone were pleasant and welcoming. The highlight was the service team - we managed to drop something behind a TV stand and Mirian and Andres from maintenance were beyond exceptional with their help and more importantly making us feel like this was not a hassle even though we definitely added more work to their day. It’s folks like this that make a place go from a great stay to a place we will absolutely be staying at again."

"I've been to Greenville a few times in the past 15 years. This city has grown so much. It's more Beautiful and even more Exciting every time my fiance' and I visit. This was our first time visiting the Residence Inn/Springhill Suites and I must say it was such a great experience, as far as hospitality and service goes. The rooms were clean and incredibly comfortable, as they always are with a Marriott Hotel. The staff was so friendly, especially at the front desk. I was in need of a few items so Key'lee and Juan made sure I got what I needed. They helped me with no hesitation and did so with huge smiles on their faces. People who travel don't always get that kind of service so it was a pleasure to give both of them a shout out for the service they provided for me. The Hotel is nestled right in the heart of the city and there was so much to do. The nightlife and restaurants were all so close by. Absolute fun."

"Great location in the center of downtown. There is a Publix supermarket nearby with 5 min walk. It's on the same building as Springhill hotel. The rmployees were professional, but not very friendly. It's a very modern hotel, great design of lobby and common area. The breakfast dining room is huge, lots of seating space. Great breakfast with plenty of food options. The flavored water station was out of the flavor syrup but didn't have sign up, so took us a bit to figure out why we were only getting just water without the selected flavor until we asked the employee. The hot water took a long time to get in the room, had to run the water for minutes before it would be hot, not sure if that was a one time issue or it's an ongoing issue. If it's something ongoing, then it's a waste of water and should be looked it. All in all, great hotel! We will recommend and will consider staying again."

"We certainly were not expecting the experience we had here. It was a beautiful hotel. The hotel was very clean and smelled great. Our room was large with separate bedroom and living space. Bathroom was oversized with a nice large shower. Our only dock on the room was the hot water was lukewarm and the towels were bit like sandpaper. However the rest of the stay was great. We had the complimentary breakfast which was more than filling. None of those ordered eggs…freshly scrambled eggs and many other offerings. The restaurant in the hotel, oak and honey, had amazing food. Try the chocolate crème brûlée. You will thank me later. The staff were some of the most welcoming I have experienced. Definitely our spot when we are in Greenville from here on out. Marriott you got it right either way this one!!!"
