Extended Stay America - Greenville - Haywood Mall

"For the price, location and friendliness of staff it’s a five star place! The room was surface clean and smelled fresh, the bed was spotless and kitchen scrubbed, but bathroom had a lot of stains, mildew on grout, and pee around the toilet bowl and on bottom of tub. The bed’s pillows are very uncomfortable and lumpy so bring your own if that type of thing bothers you. I wish they had 1/2 stars because this place is a solid 3&1/2 stars. The staff provided (upon request) two spoons, forks & knives, one small frying pan, one small pot, a plastic spatula, two bowls, two plates, two cups, two plastic cups and a dishcloth. If you’re planning on staying and cooking to save money make sure you bring basic kitchen stuff: salt & pepper, baking sheet with a pot holder, paper towels, dish soap and sponge, and so on. Don’t forget basic bathroom amenities as well, only one small shampoos bottle (sample sized) and a thin bar of soap was provided. For the price and helpfulness of the staff I gave it four stars. The breakfast is served early with hot coffee, oatmeal & grits packets, creamer & sugar. Be forewarned that it is mainly used as temporary housing and we did hear more than one staff member ask for their “rent”. The hallways reeked of marijuana, the carpet was heavily stained and walls of hallway were worn with chipping paint and stains."

"Hello! I would like to leave a review. We lived in this hotel for 1 month and two weeks. We were very pleased, first of all, with the hotel staff. The manager is a very good person, both a person and a specialist in his field, a very kind and sincere person, and the rest of the workers of this hotel that I encountered were polite and kind. Breakfasts, clean bed linen, and hotel cleaning were always provided. Thanks to all the staff who greeted us with warmth and care!"

"Our apartment flooded so we needed a place to stay, despite being a little apprehensive we decided to give this place a try. It has been fantastic, room is clean, well stocked and the staff is great. Taylor, Phoebe and everyone have been wonderful!"

"I have been at the property for a week and I absolutely love it! The room is like a little apartment so cozy. The location is perfect. And the service has been outstanding all of the staff have been very nice and helpful but Nancy is absolutely amazing! She goes above and beyond to make sure every guest has everything they need and are happy! If I could give her 100 stars I would! ❤️"

"I just stayed her for 3 weeks after we had to have a major renovation done to our house after a water pipe broke while we were on vacation. Let me just tell you the service here was outstanding. I do feel the need to really highlight one person in particular. There is a very nice older blonde woman probably early 60’s named Nancy and she is just golden. She was so attentive, asked us how we were doing each time we came in and out and just always had a smile on her face. She truly made us feel right at home. We will surely be recommending this place to all of our friends. Nancy is like the grandmother that you’ve always wanted. Sweetest little old woman ever."
