β ClosedThe Audubon Newhall Preserve, located at 55 Palmetto Bay Road in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is a 50-acre nature preserve owned and operated by the Hilton Head Island Audubon Society. This non-profit organization is dedicated to preserving and protecting wildlife and natural ecosystems in the Lowcountry. The preserve is home to over 140 bird species and offers free guided tours led by a Master Birder every Tuesday morning. Visitors can enjoy the interconnected trails, observation deck overlooking the pond, and benches for resting. The preserve is dog-friendly, but pets must be leashed and waste must be picked up. No smoking is allowed on the premises, and visitors are encouraged to be good stewards of the land by not picking flowers or plants.
