"We found this place by accident and it did not disappoint!! Brittany, our server was helpful and very pleasant! The food was absolutely amazing! We had 2 beers, the perogies to start and then a Reuben with fries and the chicken salad club sandwich with onion rings! Everything was so delicious and made perfectly! We will be back for sure! Highly recommend this hidden gem!"

"If I could give it zero stars I would, we were there for a engagement party first it took the waitress 20 minutes to even get our drink orders, most of the tables drinks had none or super minimal alcohol, and mine was just completely wrong. When we finished we told the waitress we wanted to pay for a couples drinks and our own. Gave her my card to pay and we left. When we got into the parking lot we were chased out by the bartender I’m assuming and our server first accusing the whole table of not paying after we all gave her our cards and cash before we left, and then accused us of only not paying for one drink that the server did not put on the tab. The bartender or manager whoever she was, was EXTREMELY hostile and really ruined the vibe for what was supposed to be a good night. She came out like she was ready to fight someone instead of simply asking if it was a mistake. Extremely unprofessional and could have been avoided 1 if the server did her job correctly and 2 if the manager or whoever the woman was acted like she had some sense. Definitely will not be coming back."

"Years ago, under different management, Coastal Ale House was a great place to dine. Sure, it's a bar atmosphere and noisy, although they do have a nice patio where that can be avoided if you don't like that type of thing. I'm local and hadn't been in awhile so took Mom for dinner last night. In the front dining area we were the only ones seated. That should have served as warning. Back in the day it was sometimes difficult to find seating. I ordered fish tacos and a margarita. Marg tasted inferior to most I've had but wasn't horrible so I went for a second. After two I should have felt a little something but....nope. I would have gotten an equal buzz off two glasses of water. I like a little heat to my food but these tacos were on fire! Tried wiping off the killer sauce but am paying today for eating them. The shrimp were tiny salad shrimp. I'm not one to raise a fuss, especially in front of my senior Mom, but I told the waitress about the heat and her response was yeah, they are spicy. The bill came and I was about to hand her my card when I saw there were two totals, one for cash and the other for card! It was either a 3-4 dollar difference. Nope, I don't play that game. I had cash, but $1 shy of what I would normally have left as tip. Oh well. Never going to be dining or drinking there again. Unless management changes again. Because I really do like the place and it's close location."
