Avalonia Land Conservancy, Sandy Point Nature Preserve
Avalonia Land Conservancy, Sandy Point Nature Preserve is a beautiful 35-acre barrier island located in Little Narragansett Bay, with only the western tip in Connecticut and the rest in Rhode Island. Sandy Point Island is also an important migratory bird habitat. Permits are required during the summer season for usage, and 2023 Season Passes are available online through the USFWS website.
