“I joined The Marlow Club in September last year after moving back to the area and the service has been top class. Even with two lockdowns in that time the communication and support was great and equipment was made available to loan and use at home whilst we couldn't get in the gym. All the staff are friendly and professional, keep the gym nice and clean ready for use, and are always happy to help with any questions. If you are looking for a Personal Trainer as well all the team are well qualified and knowledgeable to help with all levels of training and nutrition advice - thanks to James for all my progress! When it comes to the facilities and training, there is a good range of new and well-kept equipment - there are several squat racks, plenty of areas for free weights (inside and outside), cable machines and plenty of cardio equipment (treadmills, exercise bikes, etc.). And although I personally don't use them, I know the online and in-person classes the gym runs are very popular. If you live in Marlow or the local area and are looking for a new gym, I would recommend popping down to check it out!”

“Old school Victorian municipal Park. No children's play equipment but there is a bandstand and of course the splendid Maiwand lion. You may find well kept flower beds. There are benches in and out of the shade plus plenty of grass to sit on. Great place to sit and contemplate life away from the bustle of the centre of Reading.”

“Lovely spot for a walk or cycle (off-road bike necessary). The lilies were in bloom in June.”

“My boys work here as helpers for a swim school. The pool is reasonable size, well maintained and clean.”

“We ordered a US made Cove retreat hot tub from M Pools and are absolutely over the moon with it even though took a while coming from the states, but well worth the wait! Malcolm and his team that delivered it were brilliant and very professional and they got it installed with no problems at all, they even made a concrete base for it to sit on so that it was level. I highly recommend M Pools and will definitely be using them again in the future.”

“A very nice, attractive park and garden in Caversham. The park and walking path along the river is on opposite banks. You can feed ducks, or just enjoy the green space or either walk along the river. Looks like the river is busy with canoyeing during the summer. If you going to drive to this park, the closest free Car parking is The Warren (behind the church). You will find plenty of car parking here along the road. I recommend this park and gardens. “New, clean, tidy and well equipped sports centre. Squash courts, real tennis, gym etc and a great cafe. A real gem in Woodcote”

“What a beautiful area with a large open field, a dedicated children play area. Very close to nature and lot of open space to walk run, jog, cycle.”

“Excellent park. We tend to go early or later so not as busy. Perfect amount of equipment. Mini golf and tea courts added bonus. Shop very reasonable priced. Felt safe in every occasion and highly recommend”

“Great place to go with children with a newly updated play area for the bigger children. There is currently no loo access at Palmer Park Leisure centre but if you buy something from Tutu's cafe you can use their toilets when they are open Wednesday to Sunday.”

“After major surgery I've been using this pool firstly as private hire with a family member for hydrotherapy and then in the weekly group hydrotherapy sessions. It's been brilliant; lovely warm water, equipment to use, proper stairs into the water for easy access even when on crutches and very well organised, friendly and very reasonably priced. It's made such a difference to my recovery - thank you!”
