Henley Mini Market
“Such a friendly and helpful staff.I used to go to mini market at past but the staff weren't friendly at all. They didn't understand me.Nir is amazing-everytime I see her,she is always happy. That's what I want to see when I go to any shop. She is an asset for the owner of the shop. Will definitely recommend!”
Furrows Mini Mart Ltd
“Just wanted to say how impressed I have been with Furrows Mini Mart. I had to self isolate (again) & they delivered some essentials I needed within minutes!!! What a fantastic local shop this continues to be!!”
Exotic food market
“Food selection is excellent. Shop was very clean, I could even smell the disinfectant/bleach through my mask, but it was not overpowering. The butchers counter had some great options like mutton, which is hard to find elsewhere. The fresh fruit and veg was all well priced and looked fresh and delicious. I was also really impressed by the frozen fish selection which included swordfish chunks! I will definitely be paying this establishment another visit!”
Yuvraj’s Mini Market
“A good one stop shop for your consideration. It has everything you need. Placed strategically in the middle of the community, you can find products from Polish to Romanian or Indian.”
The CookHouse Deli
“Absolutely amazing Deli! Great local produce and incredibly friendly owners! Great knowledge on all the produce they sell and always up for a friendly chat too! Highly recommend a visit and be sure to order a platter! They're incredible!”
Hampstead Norreys Community Shop & Cafe
“Friendly service. Well stocked shop. Excellent cafe with a wide selection of cakes and baked goods”
Westside Fruit Ltd
“I love this place the fruit is so fresh, strawberries to die for, they taste so much better than the supermarket variety. Lots of varieties of fruit, veg, cheese and meats and let's not forget the breads and the fresh rolls that are made up. I am hoping I have not missed anything! I shop here most weeks and will continue to do so”
Cobbs at Englefield
“We popped to Cobbs today for my friend’s birthday. We were in the area for a wedding and came across it when looking for somewhere for breakfast. We mentioned the birthday when we walked in and they made our visit extra special. The birthday girl received a birthday cake in the top of her coffee and also a candle and cake at the end. Thank you Cobbs - we’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area. Oh and breakfast in the cafe was delicious!”
BNC Gurkha Grocery Ltd
“I really like this quirky little store. Full of surprises and we'll worth a visit! They do some lovely snacks and teas. We love their peanut cookies. They also do smaller bags of chapatti flour than I have seen in other places.”
Budgens
“Great local shop. Well stocked with reasonable prices. What's great is that they're open early and close late, seven days a week. Their staff are also friendly and helpful, in particular the store manager.”
M&S Simply Food
“Very convenient location, near High Street and Liston Road car park. Excellent selection of top quality food, sandwiches, drinks, ready meals, Belgian and Swiss chocolates, biscuits, fresh fruit and vegetables, salads, etc. Pop in and browse!”
Hare Hatch Sheeplands
“Went to see what this garden centre was like and I'm in love! My 1st impression was oh this seems nice and low key and none of the branding everywhere, I'll just pop in this little door and WOW I was Mr Ben back in the changing rooms and this amazing oasis of a nursery was in front of my eyes. What was not to like about this place and I think the value and quality and choices are fabulous.”
ALDI
“Found everything I needed , most items cheaper than other supermarkets. Cashiers friendly and fast. Will definitely return”
Reading Zabka
“Very nice Polish food store. They have fresh row meet. Makes it one of my favourite Polish shop! Parking is difficult at the day time, but after 21:00 is free at the side roads.”
ALDI
“Aldi has always been a great shop for value and selection, but they've excelled in recent years with the addition of some amazing vegan options at crazily low prices. Many ranges have been developed such as pet goods like bedding, toys and treats. Their own brands are incredible quality. I've even purchased shoes and boots half the cost of regular retailers yet equally well made. All foods offer quality and price you'll be hard pressed to match elsewhere. The way checkouts are managed is brilliant - they're ways on the ball to make sure customers are seen to swiftly. Staff are great and always friendly and helpful. Best supermarket in my opinion.”
Sainsbury's
“Lots of parking, but far too many disabled spaces, when busy, you can drive round many times and go past many unused empty disabled spaces . Before people start to judge, I have a blue badge, and I think it's wrong for able bodied to have to go past many empty spaces that are rarely filled. This then creates able people to park in these spaces, some are quite a distance from the entrance, make them anyone's parking spaces”
Sainsbury's
“Forgot a couple of items so popped in to see if I could get them here. Surprisingly this smaller branch of Sainsbury's had more available items than the larger store in Friar Street. I have been back several times now instead of using the 'main' store. Staff are friendly and helpful and store is clean. They also have a hot food section. I have not bought from it as it is always closed when I go in, so cannot comment on what is offers.”
Budgens
“Staff are always friendly. It's clean. Good selection.”
Morrisons
“Morrisons so is nice and quiet on a Sunday hardly anybody in they've got some nice offers.”
