“I have just started using the services of Connections WA for my son and so far they have been fabulous. This is a really stressful time for our family and they have helped to put us at ease. We started by seeing child psychologist Andrea, and she was lovely to deal with. I didn't feel pressured by time when I was with her, and counsellor Elanor sat in on the session so she knew our situation for when she saw us later on. Our first session with Elanor was great. I walked out of the session with a much better outlook about what we're dealing with, and I felt a sense of relief. We've had 2 sessions with OT Melanie and she is also wonderful. My son seems to have really taken to her and I can hear that he is happy and having fun and engaging with her from the waiting room, which puts me at ease. Getting help during stressful life experiences is difficult, but it's much easier when you feel comfortable with the professionals assisting you. The whole process at Connections WA has been easy. Dellanie sorts out all our appointments and billing. I don't have to worry about calling to get appointments or paying at the end of each session. It's those little things that make a stressful situation just that little bit easier. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service. So far they have been wonderful for us and I feel like we're really supported.”
