“There was a time in my life where I've hit a crossroad and I had no idea what I wanted to do in my life. Having done many jobs in different industries, I decided to take on the fitness path. Not knowing where to go, I was introduced to Fit College by a friend. The education Fit College provided essentially paved the path towards my success in the fitness industry. As soon as I finished my course, I started as a PT the next day with 14 clients. Without their guidance, this would have been an impossible task. With the affiliation Fit College has with Goodlife Cannington, it was easy for them to link me up with a mentor and also clients which led me to own a successful business. After being a PT for three years (and still running a business), I am now working for Goodlife Cannington as a Fitness Director and I owe it to Fit College for giving me the right education, experience and exposure. I was fortunate enough to complete my Cert 3 & 4 on campus, which is housed within Roar Fitness - a fantastic facility that affords students of FIT College access to an array of fitness equipment. The initial sign up process with Careers Manager Crystal was easy, informative and her approach, patience and attention to detail made me super excited to get started. Meeting Careers Advisor Kate, once we had commenced the course, cemented that we were surrounded by the nicest support network that genuinely wanted our individual success within the fitness industry. Under the guidance of teachers/mentors Marc, Zoe and Reuben, I feel confident and ready to begin my journey as a Personal Trainer. Our class had Marc for the majority of Cert 3 and 4 so he deserves a stand alone thank you for imparting a massive amount of extra health and fitness knowledge to us and plenty of laughs along the way.
