“Really friendly little cafe and take away. Love their food - it’s fresh, and lives up to the name (yummy). Service is very fast and friendly - usually no more than ten minutes. Staff are wonderful. Love lemon grass beef rice bowl. The bahn mi is super fresh and Bread really soft. A great addition to the Kalamunda food scene.”

“Visited after hiking from Lesmurdie Fall, as it is the closest cafe in the area. The pumpkin salad is amazing! I really enjoy every bite, the crunchiness from puffed grains and broccolini, highlighted with nutty flavor and sweetness from pumpkin and sultanas. It’s a great combination, just keep you wanting more. On top of that, the outdoor seating is relaxing!”

“One of the best gourmet burgers and fries that I've ever had in Perth! Which is so good to have after a hike. We've been here twice for food & drinks and both times have been fantastic. Good views from the balcony looking out to the city/ocean. Wonderful, wonderful service. It's hard to find places in Perth where you walk into a restaurant and are immediately welcomed in a genuine way. These guys have nailed it.”

“Great food and excellent service. Finally a place who knows how to make a decent lemon lime and bitters. Quaint and welcoming feel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Well priced and they do lunch sized portions too which is a bonus. If you get a chance try the apple blueberry crumble it was divine.”

“I have stopped here a number of times on the way home from mountain biking and ill definitely stop in again. Food is fresh and servings generous, beers are ice cold and service is on point. The music is never too loud (all pubs take note) and there is heaps of space for all the crew often with bikes and always great vibes to boot.”

“Nice little cafe with a huge heart. Staffs were friendly and atmosphere chippy. One of the better breaky I'd in a long while. Bread nicely toasted with perfectly cooked egg and bacon. For the price that comes with a cup of small coffee, what else can I asked for.”

“I've been here twice already since discovering it. Such a beautiful gem located in the hills. Even the drive to get there is perfect! The food is great, a bit pricey but worth it. The gardens are breathtaking. The mini-golf is very nice, set in a picturesque spot. Highly recommend for a date, or for a family day out!”

“Really Delish food! We got 2 kinds of fish, crabstix, dimmys, chips and pickled onions. The chips were deliciously crunchy, and the fish portions were great and it was lovely and fresh!! Also the batter was nice and thin and perfectly golden. Very impressed which often doesn’t happen at fish and chip shops, most are kind of average. Highly recommend this little gem!”

“A family-run restaurant that offers either a 'design your own platter' or Nonna's table (set menu) option. Is family-friendly and has a very pleasant casual atmosphere. The wines - all Italian varietals - were enjoyed by all on our table. Can taste them, for a small charge, before you eat and order all by the glass or bottle.”

“Fantastic little place in Kalamunda town center. Great ambiance, felt like I was back in Kyoto. I have many visits here and it has always been good. Great food. Have to say one of the best bento presentation I’ve seen and tastes great too. Currently only opens for dinner. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations. Best to get there early as seats fills up quickly and waiting time might be long if you turn up late. . It really is well worth the wait though! Weekdays are not as busy as weekend.”

“Came here on Wednesday night to celebrate my wife's birthday. They are located next to Kalamunda Cycles and parking was easy to find. Managed to make it for happy hour so we got to enjoy a few drinks. The menu had variety and the food is delicious. The 16hr Beef Grandes and the Crispy pork belly taco went down a treat, as did the pulled pork and mole chicken burritos, accompanied by corn chips and guacamole dip. So filling we literally rolled out of the restaurant. Staff are very attentive and friendly and overall a great experience, especially for my wife on her special day.”
