Renowned sculptor Henry K. Bush-Brown created the statue, which was duplicated from the Anthony Wayne monument at Stony Brook. The dedication ceremony included music, prayer, and speeches praising Wayne's bravery and leadership during the Revolutionary War. Wayne's former home, Waynesborough, is also a historic site in Chester County. Additionally, a statue of Wayne can be found at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
