Christ the Saviour Seminary
Christ the Saviour Seminary, located at 225 Chandler Avenue in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, was founded in 1940 by Metropolitan Orestes P. Chornock, the first bishop of the American Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Diocese. Originally established in New York City and later in Nicholson, PA, the seminary found its permanent home in Johnstown in 1951 at the Strayer Mansion.
