Welcome to Hornby School Museum, a one-room schoolhouse located at 10000 Station Road in North East, Pennsylvania, United States. Step back in time as you sit in a desk from the 19th century, wear costumes similar to those from "Little House on the Prairie," and play games that children played in a one-room schoolhouse. Sing old songs, compete in a spelling bee with words from textbooks of the period, and explore how education has evolved over the past 150 years. Nestled in the heart of the Pennsylvania Wilds’ scenic steep valleys region, the Wildlife Center at Sinnemahoning State Park is a haven for nature enthusiasts and wildlife watchers. Spanning across 1,910 acres, this picturesque park is situated in both Cameron and Potter counties, surrounded by the green-shouldered ridges of Pennsylvania’s Elk State Forest and Susquehannock State Forest. The park is long and narrow, encompassing lands on both sides of the First Fork Sinnemahoning Creek, a major tributary to the Sinnemahoning Creek. At the southern end, the George B. Stevenson Dam creates a 145-acre reservoir, perfect for fishing and water recreation.

We are a community dedicated to faith, fellowship, and service, offering a variety of programs and events for all ages. Recently, we hosted our annual Vacation Bible School on August 5th, 7th, and 9th, 2024, with the theme "Outback Rock: Where Kids Venture into Solid Faith." The week was filled with engaging lessons led by Rev. Dr. Ethelyn Taylor, Rev. Dr. Bernard Downing, and Terrine Datts, focusing on the stories of Joseph and Jesus Christ. Our program also included lively music sessions with Joan Clerk and Terrine Datts, fun games organized by Jayminn DeShields and David Powell, and creative crafts led by Helen Hampton and Myra Houston. The week concluded with a joyful Cook-Out on August 11th, bringing our community together in celebration.
