Welcome to Hornby School Museum, a one-room schoolhouse located at 10000 Station Road in North East, Pennsylvania, United States. Step back in time as you sit in a desk from the 19th century, wear costumes similar to those from "Little House on the Prairie," and play games that children played in a one-room schoolhouse. Sing old songs, compete in a spelling bee with words from textbooks of the period, and explore how education has evolved over the past 150 years. Open by appointment from April to October, with public hours on Sunday afternoons from June to October. Come visit us and experience the charm of a historic schoolhouse!

"I haven't been to this charming but tiny museum for years, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It is an old one-room schoolhouse with time-appropriate accoutrements. Does not take long to visit, but the memories and stories told by parents and grandparents become very real. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop. Not sure of hours or admission fees, but probably can find them online."
