Settlers Cabin Park, located at 608 Ridge Road in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, spans over 1,610 acres across Collier, North Fayette, and Robinson Townships. The park is home to a historic 1780 log cabin, identified with the help of archaeologists from Carnegie Mellon University, giving the park its name. Although some areas of the park have a history of oil and coal mining, Settlers Cabin Park has been reforested and now boasts untouched, rugged landscapes. The park features 11 groves and shelters named after American Indian people and terms, such as Algonquin, Seneca, Apache, and Tomahawk.
