Wissahickon Waterfowl Preserve, located at 1-93 Maple Avenue in Ambler, Pennsylvania, is an 18-acre park along the Wissahickon Creek. Owned and maintained by the Wissahickon Waterfowl Preserve (WWP), a nonprofit organization, this preserve is a birding hotspot and offers a picnic area with benches. The park features stroller-friendly, hard trail surfaces and welcomes leashed dogs. Established in 2006, the preserve was purchased by the WWP with the goal of creating a beautiful space for the community while protecting the environment. The site was once part of the BoRit Asbestos Superfund Site, but after cleanup efforts by the EPA, it now boasts a 511-foot hard surface walking path and benches around the 11-acre pond.
