Therapists at Oshun Family Center are trained in various modalities of healing, including herbalism, acupuncture, massage therapy, and yoga. In response to the racial trauma impacting the Black community, the center launched a fundraiser to support mental health initiatives and has raised over $100k to date. The Maternal Wellness Village, a collective of Black birth workers, serves Philadelphia and beyond with expertise in maternal health. Our work is centered around the relationship between JOY and mental health, particularly for individuals from the Black community who have faced historical marginalization and oppression.
