The Achievement Center of LECOM Health, located at 305 North State Street in Warren, Pennsylvania, has been providing quality therapeutic services to children and families for 100 years. With a focus on meeting the unique needs of children and adolescents facing emotional, social, physical, or behavioral challenges, the Achievement Center serves over 3,100 children annually. Offering a variety of therapeutic programs for children from birth to age 21, the Achievement Center has expanded its reach to help families in Erie, Crawford, Forest, and Warren counties. With 15 distinct programs staffed by highly skilled and compassionate professionals, the Achievement Center strives to maximize the potential of every child and family it serves.
Mercy Anchor Community Center
Mercy Anchor Community Center, located at 1012 East 28th Street in Erie, Pennsylvania, is a beacon of hope for those experiencing homelessness in the community. With the recent opening of the Mercy Anchor Community Center (MACC), the Mercy Center has doubled its capacity to provide housing and services to men, women, and children in need. The center offers 13 two-bedroom apartments in the former Holy Rosary School, providing a safe and affordable place to call home. Through cooperative agreements with various organizations, MACC offers a wide range of services such as GED and computer classes, pre-employment training, a food pantry, gymnasium and fitness center, AA and NA classes, primary and behavioral health services, and more. Thanks to generous donors who contributed $5 million to the project, the Mercy Center can now house up to 64 individuals at a time through its transitional and permanent housing programs.
