Highland Park Entry Garden
Highland Park Entry Garden is a picturesque Victorian-style gathering place located at 1467 North Highland Avenue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This beautiful entryway leads to the iconic Reservoir No. 1, a favorite spot for walkers and joggers on the Reservoir Loop trail. Originally established in the late 1800s for the city's water system, Highland Park has since become a popular destination for picnics and passive recreation. In addition to the Entry Garden and reservoir, Highland Park offers a range of amenities including a bike track, swimming pool, sand volleyball courts, and the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. The park has undergone significant improvements in recent years thanks to the efforts of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, including the restoration of the Entry Garden and the creation of seasonal pools along Washington Boulevard.
