"Last Sunday was my second visit to The Ruins and I took a friend. I learned more about the miners and their families and saw new additions to the project. I recommend if you go, keep up with the tour guide. It's an easy, leisurely stroll at this outdoor art exhibit, but you could get behind if you're trying to take too many photos. Erica does a fantastic job of explaining the most intricate things about this display and you don't want to miss out as the tour moves along. (Also, stop at the nearby Get Go before your tour, as there are no public restrooms.) There are wonderful stories to hear and share about the roots of coal mining in western Pennsylvania at this place!"
