"Amazon is quite the oasis of products, and finding a chair sold by Office Chairs Unlimited that met my requirements (Harwick Evolve Heavy Duty, a drafting chair built for sitting in it for long hours), it was a no-brainer to purchase! Well, because Amazon is consistent with showing "Frequently bought together" products, I purchased some rollerblade casters to go with my new chair as they were better for my flooring. Easy-peasy, right? Wrong. Today I learned that, because Galileo decided to invent physics, rollerblade casters are actually very dangerous on office chairs as they cannot distribute the weight evenly. I first learned this by snapping one of them and busting open my foot; concerned this could be a product issue I contacted Office Chairs Unlimited via Amazon, thinking I'd probably hear from them next week. MINUTES. I heard from and was speaking with Mike Harley in MINUTES about what happened, where he very politely explained to me in more detail how these caster wheels can cause these types of breaks. He did explain that they weren't supported on the chair but immediately added that he wanted to ship me a replacement base immediately, only asking I use the original casters this time. Whether or not I was knowledgeable about rollerblade casters and the risks, I still ultimately chose to combine two different products that, at the end of the day, effectively caused an out-of-warranty break (and injury to myself). Mike was very deliberate in his communication to focus first on taking care of the broken part, but also to show he supported me as his customer by making sure I was taken care of and also educating me for the future. I have NEVER worked with an online merchant where a product communication, especially via Amazon's messaging system, resulted in such a swift turnaround. Further, the kindness, consideration, and professional input that Mike provided to ensure myself and my products moving forward have the best experience was beyond anything I could have expected. The Harwick Evolve drafting chair is great, and I look forward to getting it standing back up at my desk. Even more, though, I look forward to continuing to use Office Chairs Unlimited as my preferred provider of office equipment. Thank you, Mike!"
