Marshall Township VFD Station 185 is a dedicated fire and rescue service provider proudly serving the residents and businesses of Marshall Township, Pennsylvania. Covering a 16-square-mile area approximately 20 miles north of Pittsburgh, our township is home to over 9,000 residents and several hundred businesses. Our commitment to safety and emergency response is evident in our operations, as four out of every ten calls we receive are for automobile accidents. We play a crucial role in responding to emergencies on major highways, including portions of I-79, Route 19, and the PA Turnpike that traverse our township. Our department operates out of two stations located at 270 Northgate Drive and 465 Knob Road. Our fleet includes two fire engines, one heavy rescue truck, and several specialty vehicles, all equipped to handle a variety of emergency situations. In 2023 alone, we responded to nearly 500 incidents, providing vital assistance not only within Marshall Township but also offering mutual aid to neighboring communities such as Wexford (Pine & Richland), Bradford Woods, Cranberry, and Mars.
