Aaron C. Taylor, MD, is a highly skilled orthopaedic trauma surgeon and serves as an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. With a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Dr. Taylor further honed his expertise through a residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and a fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Taylor specializes in orthopaedic trauma, upper and lower extremity fracture care, polytrauma involving high-energy injuries of the extremities and pelvis, and geriatric hip fracture care. He is a respected member of both the Orthopaedic Trauma Association and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

His academic journey began with a bachelor's degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1987, followed by a medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1991. He honed his expertise during his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Abington Memorial Hospital, where he served as chief resident in 1995.
