FarmerJawn Produce & Kitchen is a unique institution located at 1225 East Street Road in West Chester, Pennsylvania. This food, grocery, and supermarket store is reintroducing farming into the lifestyles of urban people to cultivate physical, social, and environmental health. As a 128-acre working farm, FarmerJawn is dedicated to regenerative organic food production for underserved communities, making it the largest Black-woman owned regenerative organic produce farm in America. At FarmerJawn, access to fresh organic foods is provided within food deserts and the community at large through storefronts. The institution offers educational programs on the origins of food through on-farm and in-class school-based programming, as well as adult agri-business training.
