The Valley Tavern, located at 1 Cherry Street in Seven Valleys, Pennsylvania, is a historic institution offering a comprehensive cuisine with weekly and bar specials. The tavern features a bar, six-pack walk-out service, drive-up window for carryout, and weekend live music. Situated alongside the York County Heritage Rail Trail, The Tavern is a convenient stop for food and drink during a bike ride or long walk. Visitors can also watch the Northern Central Railway's diesel and steam trains as they stop to uncouple just outside the doors on Saturdays & Sundays. Originally built in 1875 as the National Hotel, the building has a rich history, with original tavern licenses dating back to 1903 displayed in the dining room. Despite facing challenges such as Hurricane Angus in 1972 and a fire in 1985, The Valley Tavern continues to thrive and build community, preserving its legacy for future generations.
