Operated by the Lake Oswego Preservation Society, a volunteer-based non-profit organization, the museum showcases City-owned artifacts and items from the Society's collection in the last remaining Iron Company Worker's Cottage in Lake Oswego. Built in circa 1880, this historic building is the oldest house in Lake Oswego open to the public. The Society's mission is to protect and promote Lake Oswego's built heritage, and they have been recognized for their advocacy efforts on behalf of local landmarks.
