"I'm sad that it got bought out by best Western but it's still a beautiful little hotel in an ideal location for visiting family in the smaller towns. The staff is still very friendly and the building is always clean and well maintained. It's great that they added a coffee shop in the lobby. The pool has never been closed when I have been here and it's always clean. Just a short walk away from the Dutch haus resteraunt as well as a handful of beautiful little shops."

"We stay here every August and October for shaker in the woods and Christmas in the woods. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They will make your stay enjoyable. Great location with the very good restaurant next door. Amy is a great asset to the motel. She remembers us every year. I don’t write reviews but this is the best place I’ve stayed in all my travels. The breakfast is always great with a chef that has been there for 22 years."
