About the Business
Birdfish Brewing Co. is a cozy bar and restaurant located at 140 East Park Avenue in Columbiana, Ohio. Our mission is to bring the local community together over fresh craft beer and create unforgettable memories with loved ones.
Our brewery and taproom offer plenty of parking options, including nearby city lots and the Harvey S. Firestone Recreational Park. We are a family-friendly establishment, but anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. While we do not serve food, we have a rotating schedule of food trucks for your dining pleasure.
Both our taproom and patio are dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friends along. We are open Monday through Thursday from 4 to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday from 12 to 10 PM, and Sunday from 12 to 8 PM. Come join us for a great selection of craft beers poured from cans and bottles. "Beer was moderate but when female bar tender asked if I wanted my $4 back from $6 beer I decided this was not the place for me. Please give me my change and let me decide what the tip should be, but don’t guilt me in to giving you a 40% tip for pouring me a beer. I wanted to buy $70 in swag but was so disappointed I don’t want to go back or wear the name."
"A brewery nestled in near the city center of Columbiana, Ohio- and an experience that almost feels out of place for the very classic, old American town...in a really good way. I got the chance to stop by after heading over for a memorial service, and it was a nice end to a pretty somber trip. I just had a sample and grabbed a to-go six pack, but wished I had more time to stay and enjoy a few beers. The atmosphere and design of the place was new age, but still inviting, and the staff pleasant and helpful. And the beer I got was very good (an Oktoberfest style beer), and the rest of the drink menu looked quite good. I'll definitely try to make a point to stop by again if I'm in the area."
"Stopped in while visiting family, and I was delighted to see this beacon of hope in a wonderful small town. Upon entering, we were greeted warmly by Sean (might have the name wrong) and he set me up with their Parks IPA that donated an amount of the purchase to local parks. It’s really nice seeing breweries as a hub of community collaboration. All the staff were friendly and professional, and the beer was phenomenal as well. They have live music, and rotating food vendors ! 10/10 if you’re in the area support this wonderful small business because they are definitely doing big things!"
"A gem in Columbiana. This brewery has such a cool atmosphere with the pinball machines, patio, and live music plus their decor is awesome. Not to mention they have a killer selection of merch. That's all the stuff you see before you even try the beer lineup, which is pretty stellar. As a traveler passing through, I wish Birdfish was closer! I'd certainly be a regular."
"A killer spot to check out when you're in Columbiana! Awesome pinball selection, great cider options, DJ, movie projector, food truck service, and nice welcoming atmosphere for the family and dogs. Friendly staff, contactless payment options. It all felt like the places I loved going to during my time in Seattle. A+"
