"I was disappointed. I went in for my son's physical, felt judged pretty heavily. I opted out of the Vax for my family and stopped doing regular vaccinations for my youngest because of a siezure it caused. I had several family members die from the covid Vax and she said my family members didn't die from the vax even though they were perfectly healthy before the vax and had massive heart attacks, stroke and cancer within a month of getting it. I understand research but I watched it happen personally. The vax hasn't been researched enough and as I know now that everyone that works at akron childrens has to have the covid vax doesn't mean I agree with it for my family. I was completely disrespected when I believe differently. I go here because I have to. My son has medical issues. I don't go here because it's great medical care. I wasn't here for anyone's opinion, I was here for a physical for my son. I'm not here to change the policy of akron childrens but I guess this review is all I can do."

"Akron Children's is a joke! My appointment was cancelled without my consent or knowledge. No one is on the same page and am always told something different from each staff member. I feel judged, ridiculed and am never taken seriously with concerns about my son. You're talked down upon as if you are uneducated and beneath them. Akron Children's is huge company and compromised of several locations. I feel they've lost sight into what's important and their priorities. It's the McDonald's of Pediatrics. I will be withdrawing my son as a patient."

"I normally take my children to the alliance or akron location. Had to take my daughter here. The front desk lady was so RUDE. I didn't know if I was in the right place (in the building) when I walked up and tried to ask. She did not look at us ONE time during this whole. Very rudely said. Name? I told her. And she ignored my previous question about asking her directly if I was in the right place and started the covid questions. After she she said they will be right with you also very rudely. She immediately turned and started talking very warmly to her co workers. So she COULD have talked to us nicely. But CHOOSE not too. When we got to our room my daughter and I noticed that there was some blood splatter onto the wall. I will NEVER come to this location again. I would rather drive in crazy akron traffic. It's such a shame because this is the first time I have ever had a bad experienced with an akron childrens location. We were there early morning of 8-27"

"The providers at this site are amazing. With that being said it is nearly impossible to get anyone to answer your call to get an appointment to see them. 2 months ago I had an urgent visit need. It took me >48 hours and calling the main campus provider line to even get to speak to someone. At that time I scheduled 2 child well visits since it was so hard to get through. 3 days before those visits I called to reschedule. Long wait times so I chose the option to leave a call back number. Next day I did the same thing….No call back. Late in the afternoon I did receive a call from who I thought was scheduling returning my call. No it was someone calling to tell me our provider was out all week and our appointments had to be canceled. I told her I had been trying for 2 days to get through to reschedule anyway. 2 hours after the call I receive 2 texts confirming both appointments….that had just been canceled due to the provider being out. I never leave reviews but my experience the last few months has been unacceptable. The left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing at this site….and it’s a shame because the care providers are wonderful. Will be finding new physicians for my children."
