Reviews
"Leslie One of the nurse practitioners there saw me recently. She spoke over me. Talked fast. Acted superior. And had mannerisms that made me feel that she did not want to give me the time of day. Second time I was there where I had interactions with her. Terrible bedside manner. I think I will refrain from scheduling at this location as there isn’t a number to call to see who’s working that day. My interaction with her wasn’t pleasant. Both times. I felt she just wanted to rush me out and she was condescending"
"If I could give negative stars I would. I had an appt today for asthma exacerbation after URIx3 days that was resolving over past 24 hrs with worsening asthma. I have adult onset moderate persistent. I see a pulmonologist critical care intensivist that I could not see for a week. So. Naturally I go to get scripts to hold me over until that appt so the asthma doesn’t progress, lung capacity doesn’t decline and I don’t cause additional damage to my lungs. After standing for several minutes trying to check in the NP says “you’re six minutes late.” Yeah…I’m checking in for six minutes. I scuffle over to my seat. To be called back to a room by presumably an MA for vitals. I again get my things and walk. Im having an asthma exacerbation. I have dyspnea on exertion, dyspnea at rest, bendopnea, orthopnea, and conversational dyspnea. That’s status quo of an asthma exacerbation. I ask to pull down the mask because obstructing an obstructive lung disorder doesn’t work well. She proceeds to tell me no, or I must leave, I say I tested covid negative that AM which I did. And she says “pull it over your nose.” I struggle more to breathe. She puts on pulse ox and it’s SaO2 100%. Pulse 123. Yeah. Had she asked I just did a breathing tx approx 25 minutes prior which causes tachycardia. Asthma is a ventilation issue not a perfusion issue. Change in SaO2 is a deathly sign. I pull down my mask to speak. She gets the NP who storms in the room and asks what I’m doing there. I get out what I stated prior about the URI and the asthma. She says “Asthma doesn’t cause shortness of breath. You need to go to a higher level of care.” I said look. I just need a zpac and prednisone. Cover my atypical bacteria, get my steroid burst. Follow up with pulm next week. She says “you don’t treat asthma with a zpac.” Ummm. Yes. Adult onset you do. Especially moderate or severe. Besides you ask an asthmatic or copd-er WHAT WORKS FOR YOU first thing if your half competent. Covering atypical bacteria in an immunocompromised patient is medical 101. She blatantly wasn’t even that because she didn’t lay a stethoscope on my chest before saying I need a chest X-ray. I asked why? It doesn’t appear infectious. I’ve had no fever. If you listened to me I’m tight and wheezy not with rales???? She repeats “you need to leave and go to a higher level to care.” She sent an UNSTABLE asthmatic and refused care without even doing a physical assessment because she didn’t like someone challenging her medical decision making. Which is unsafe and unethical and borderline illegal. I’ll be making a formal complaint to corporate but I can tell anyone going here—don’t. Not only is this kind of attitude exemplify everything of what healthcare is NOT supposed to be but that callous egotistical approach is what kills people. You saw me good enough to argue with me but not good enough to treat but good enough to refuse care and send away unstable? P. S. Status asthmaticus is the progression. That’s when you need a higher level of care. If you believed I was there and didn’t call 911 that would be blatant medical negligence. This was the worst experience of my life. She makes a bad name for NPs everywhere. Also. I did to go stat care. With a real Doctor. Who listened to me. Asked what worked best for me. Did a physical assessment. Didn’t freak out. Ordered what I needed. Did a respiratory pcr panel to cover bases for my employment. Got me a work note. Told me he didn’t believe it was pneumonia so no CXR because, well, everything I said prior. I agreed. He told me to feel better. I got my scripts. And am already improving. She made a bad situation ten times worse. When she had the power as a medical provider to change that. To care for someone in their time of need. Placing ego and bias aside and doing *whats right*. That’s what’s important. Most disgusting interaction of my life with a “professional”. Hands. Down."
"Yesterday I brought 2 of my daughters in to be seen at minute clinic. Both suffering sore throats, cough, pain in chest. My one daughter is status post 3 weeks having COVID with zero lingering side effects. My other daughter is 1.5 weeks past and has struggled. One appointment was at 5:50 and the other 6:10. We drove there from Jackson in the snow because the few times I’ve gone there it’s been a gentleman NP and he’s been amazing. Last night Leslie Robson was the NP and I’ve never been more disappointed in someone’s bedside manner. She was extremely condescending and brushed the concerns off as “symptoms of Covid can last 4-6 weeks” despite telling her (especially my one daughter who advocated for herself) that it’s been 3 weeks and this was new. She barely assessed them, brushed the concerns off and was just rude. I will say that as the appointment progressed she became kinder. However, as a healthcare professional myself I am NOT going to stand for that subpar care and dismissive attitude without calling her out. When the visit was over I kindly asked to speak to her and I said, “I appreciate your disposition becoming nicer as the appointment neared it’s end but you were dismissive and condescending from the minute we walked in” she mentioned trying to her them both seen - and I said that was on her as they each had separate appointment times. I asked for corporate’s phone numbers from other staff at CVS (my girls agreed I could because they agreed she was rude and dismissive) and they mentioned wishing more people would speak up about certain things…..they offered to let me know which NP was on staff if we ever needed another appointment because if it’s her, we won’t return."
"Had a great experience with NP Jesse. Other reviews here made me skeptical, but I was seen ontime and they were able to make sure my VA insurance was taken. Concierge also helped others and myself sign in and make appointments. Pharmacy was working on my Rx as soon as I walked over. Couldn't have gone better IMHO."
"While at this clinic I got very poor care from Nurse Practitioner Ruth Hahn. I made an appointment with the minute clinic to get a physical done for my new job. When I walked into her office Ruth was unfriendly. She told me she was unable to give me a physical because I didn't have all my vaccine records (which I initially understood) after she said this I asked if I could just pay for the physical to done without her signing anything that way I could clear it with my boss. She then interrupted me by stating " do you not know what the word certify mean? I am not doing it!". she didn't let me know that the vaccinations that I needed was actually offered at the clinic instead she said " oh well I am not signing your physical." Terrible experience"
